This fucking dude has been parking like this for about a month now. Always movie, backing in and not caring how many spots he takes up. He protrudes out into the middle of the garage, taking up more space than I thought possible. I’m not one to harm others rides, but if there weren’t cameras in this garage he would have quite a few key marks to buff out. It’s not just me, so many people have complained. It’s actually too big for them to tow out of the garage as well. Big trucks have no place in the city, and shouldn’t be allowed. All they do is make it more dangerous for the rest of us. Fuck you if you do this /end rant

You would figure they would just boot him if they couldn’t tow.

Full-size trucks in a city are asinine. They should be forced to park on the top level.
I would start chalking out his “parking space” when he takes up more than one. That way you have evidence for complaints, and public shame for being an asshole.

I know what a pain it is to drive a large SUV or truck in a parking garage. At times it’s quite difficult to squeeze into a spot.
But this, no excuses. Unacceptable. 0/10

I bet he does a lot of towing and hauling (and other manly, big-penised things!) with that big truck when he’s got it parked in that parking garage.

I was with you on the bad parking, until I got to the “my preference should be dictated to everyone” part. When you encourage government to exert control over others in ways you favor, you help create a monster that will eventually come for the things you value.

How big is the parking garage? Being someone who primarily owned trucks and often had to go to the city, I know the pain of parking it and getting gear/crew etc out.
It’s an endspot from what I see. If there’s plenty of room it’s not a big deal. Also if he’s loading/unloading a lot (from the sides - normal for tools) there it may be why he’s doing it. It allows to make multiple trips without blocking the lane.

Ah, a full sized truck to commute to your office job in the city. American idiocy will know no bounds.

Or shit in a paper bag, place in front of his door where he has to move it or step on it.

At least he isn’t parked on the end where everyone is trying to make a turn AND see around the corner. That’s what I hate. How do you know he lives in the city? He might live in the burbs, and needs a truck to tow his toys. You know manly stuff like 4 wheelers and boats.

That is exactly what will happen if people make snide jokey comments on internet blogs.
There is nothing at all fallacious with this line of thinking.

As someone who occasionally drives my 3/4 ton diesel to the office (because the Mini is less awesome at Costco/Home Depot runs, and I work very close to the local Costco)...
I was with you with the crap parking job, and then you veered off into “my preference should have force of law”. So while I would have just berated his parking skills with a 1500, instead I will tell you to stick it where the sun don’t shine.
I can park my 2500HD just fine, thank you. GTFAC.

I think the issue is, that is actually two endspots.

Exactly, it’s better to take up two spots at the end then in the middle for all the reasons mentioned above and actually quite a few more. It sucks having to drive a truck in the city and things like this can really make your day that much easier.
